    About Psephology.AI

An independent, non-partisan record of UK elections: every result, every candidate, every vote we can find.

    What it is

Psephology.AI brings UK election results into one searchable place: 138 years of results (1889 to 2026) and over 1.8bn votes counted. That is over 1,200,000 candidate results across 1,557 elections, covering 1,422 councils, over 55,000 wards and over 750,000 individual candidates. Every candidate, ward, council, party and election has its own page, and the Insights reports turn the record into plain-English analysis.

    Who runs it

Psephology.AI was founded by Ian Naylor and Cllr Christopher Grocock.

    Non-partisan

Psephology.AI is not affiliated with, funded by or run on behalf of any political party. Every party and candidate is treated by the same rules, and the methods behind every figure are published on the methodology page.

    Why it exists

UK election results are scattered across council websites, archived spreadsheets and printed handbooks. Psephology.AI joins them up so that anyone — voters, journalists, researchers, candidates and campaigners — can see how a ward, a council or a person has performed over time, and ask questions of the data in plain English.
