Data terms

1. Credit

Wherever you show or publish our data, include this credit (or a clear equivalent with a link to psephology.ai):

Data: Psephology.ai (psephology.ai). Includes data from Democracy Club (CC BY 4.0) and other public sources.

This applies on every plan. It also meets the attribution terms of Democracy Club's CC BY 4.0 licence and other open sources we draw on.

2. What each plan lets you do

• Free, Starter and Pro: use the data in your own research, reporting, analysis, apps and websites. You may publish charts, tables, figures and quotes drawn from it. You may not resell, re-license or offer the data itself (or a substantial part of it) as a dataset or data service.
• Business and Enterprise: as above, plus the right to redistribute our data, insights and identity matching inside your own products, with credit.
• Full archive with redistribution rights: the right to redistribute the archive files, with credit, for as long as the yearly licence is paid.
• One-off CSV packs: for use within the buying organisation, on the same terms as Free–Pro.

3. Fair use and limits

Each plan has call limits per minute, day and month (see plans). Don't share keys outside your organisation or use several free accounts to get round limits. Calls over a limit are refused with HTTP 429; we never bill automatically for extra use.

4. Accuracy

We work hard to make the data accurate and correct problems when we find them, but historic records contain gaps and errors. The data is provided as it is, without a guarantee. Check anything important against the official declaration.

5. Keys, suspension and revocation

We may suspend or revoke a key that breaks these terms, puts the service at risk, or is used to harass or mislead. Where we can, we'll tell you first. You can revoke your own keys at any time from your dashboard, and a revoked key stops working immediately.

6. Payment and cancellation

Paid plans renew monthly or yearly until cancelled. If you cancel, your plan stays active until the end of the period you've paid for, then drops to Free. Questions: support@psephology.ai.
